Hucow is a mash-up of two words: human and cow. It refers to a sexual kink where a person acts as a cow, often lactating or being maintained as a barn animal. In the majority of scenarios, a woman acts as the cow, and a man acts as the (human) owner or the bull (the bovine mating partner). However, like most types of fantasy, this can be structured in many, many different ways to suit many, many different types of desire.

Hucow Erotica

Hucow erotica can draw on several different types of kinks. Not all hucow erotica contains all elements of these, and not all hucow erotica readers desire these potential aspects of the genre. Further below, I’ll talk a bit about how I like it and what you can usually expect from my hucow stories. Some potential themes in hucow erotica include:

Hucow Bondage

This is one of the most common features of the hucow erotica genre. Often, a hucow is chained in place; sometimes with a simple rope halter, and sometimes with more elaborate handcuffs, spreader bars, bondage hoods, ball gags, and more. While this fetish gear is not necessary for it to be consider a hucow story (all that’s really required is someone acting somewhat like a cow), but these are often pieces that make the niche what it is: a hot, steamy story about a woman giving up control to someone who owns her.

Hucow Lactation

This is another common theme in hucow erotica. There is often intense focus on the generation of lactation in non-childbearing women, or on the quantity of milk produced. The process of “coaching” a hucow to lactate without pregnancy generally involves hormone-based therapy or manual stimulation through suckling, milking machines, or other forms of milk expression. This is sometimes painful to begin with, but can become pleasurable with time and practice. This can be the central plot, particularly for sci-fi or apocalyptic settings (more on that below). Other times, this is a rote aspect of what is expected of the hucow. The hucow can find this enjoyable or not, depending on the character.

Hucow Breeding & Pregnancy

Pregnancy in hucow erotica tends to fall into one of two categories. One, the pregnancy is a means to an end, and is used to generate lactation in the mother. It often isn’t a plot point other than used to explain how lactation is induced. Two, a central theme of the book can be a breeding kink, where pregnancy is a part of the appeal and the fantasy. This can be about subjugation, ownership, and the vulnerability of pregnancy. The femininity of the pregnant hucow, along with her growing bust, are common features in this particular category.

Hucow Gangbang

Sometimes, a hucow may be shared among multiple males. These may be other farmers or the owner’s friends, or they can be bulls (hubulls) which are men who are also trained as hucows for the purpose of breeding. This can be strictly for reproduction purposes, sexual gratification of the males, and even sexual gratification of the hucow herself. This often ties into themes of subjugation and ownership frequently recurring in this genre. Sometimes, the hucow is “spitroast,” meaning she pleases a man with her sex and another with her mouth at the same time.

Hucow Breast Worship

Related to the lactation aspect, there is sometimes a significant amount of focus placed on the hucow’s breasts. This is often related to their size, but can also be referring to their movement or quality, such as the way they sag, heavy with milk, or the way the nipples become large when being milked. Although size does not directly tie to the amount of milk produced on a scientific level, they are often depicted on a scale of large to enormous.

Hucow Sci-Fi

Mostly this is dealt with contextually, basically answering the question of “Why is this person acting as a cow?” Sometimes it can be because there is some type of apocalyptic food shortage, requiring human milk for sustenance. Sometimes it can even be an alien species demanding it of humans, drawing possible parallels of the way we demand it from actual cows. Often, however, it is for pleasure, without demanding a science fiction reasoning.

For me personally, I like to write primarily about bondage, lactation, and breast worship, with some occasional themes around gangbangs.
